New January show brings formalwear and menswear together with more vendors, new Winter 2027 products, and a smarter buying cycle for independent retailers.
DALLAS, TEXAS — JANUARY 23–25, 2027 — The Select International Formalwear Association (SiFA) and International Formalwear Association (IFA) are excited to announce an expanded Formal Fashion Week 2027, taking place January 23–25, 2027, at Dallas Market Center.
For the first time, Formal Fashion Week will be held in conjunction with Dallas Menswear, creating a joint Formalwear + Menswear Market and bringing retailers access to more vendors than ever before.
This partnership has been something we have worked incredibly hard to bring together with Dallas Market Center, and we believe it represents an exciting opportunity for independent formalwear and menswear retailers. By combining these markets, stores can accomplish more in one trip—discovering new products, meeting with current vendors, connecting with new resources, and building relationships across both the formalwear and menswear industries.
A New Show. A Smarter Buying Cycle.
The January market is also designed to address one of the biggest challenges facing formalwear retailers: taking delivery of new merchandise during peak Prom season.
Instead of waiting for the traditional buying cycle, retailers attending Formal Fashion Week in January will have the opportunity to preview and order new product for Winter 2027, with the goal of receiving merchandise toward the end of the year—before the rush of Prom season begins.
We want retailers to be able to receive new merchandise, get it organized, photographed, marketed and on the floor before they enter their busiest season. And now, by partnering with Dallas Menswear, we can offer stores an even greater reason to make the trip to Dallas.
